OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
So refreshing to hear this sound; groove, great chorus transitions, and technical when it needs to be. Best find of the year so far and a band to watch. David Rothbauer

Italian stoner powerhouse Tenebra has the heft of Sabbath and the hooks of Saint Vitus in their powerfully imposing tunes. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2022
I’m upset that I didn’t discover this album sooner. I had originally come across Summoner when they covered one of my favorite Black Sabbath songs (A National Acrobat) on a tribute album. There’s an urgency to their music, and as you’re unpacking what you’re hearing, it just sinks in deep and sticks with you. I’m really just trying to say that this album is fantastic, and deep. I’m really hoping Summoner puts out new music soon and would love to see them live as well. Matthew Rychlik
